The girls are raising money for new uniforms, travel expenses, and tournament entry fees. There will be not only pancakes but candy bars and The summer Time Softball Club athletic gear for sale.
"This is a great fundraiser for the girls," said the club's general manager, Tracey Wade. "This will help the girls be able to travel all over the state, without having to pay out of pocket.

The Summer Time Softball Club is made up of 12 year old girls who have been playing together for the past three years. Last year the team qualified for the ASA National Tournament, finishing 3rd. It is the highest finish by a team from Kansas in over 20 years. The Summer Time Softball Club is made up of girls from Richmond, Lane, Princeton, and Rantoul.
